• Jeff Styres – Mr. Rufus is still sitting tight in the hospital with possibility of moving to rehab by the end of the week. Kidney function looking better but hoping to get rid of a little more fluid retention before being discharged.
• Clara Walker - Kenneth, Clara’s husband, has gone through his third treatment and is feeling ok.
• Lorie Hanson - Please pray for Stephanie Smith, Lorie's mother. She fell while getting off her horse and suffered a complex tibial plateau fracture in her knee. She is currently having a knee immobilizer put in place to stabilize the fracture and will need additional surgery to repair the damage. She was taken to River Oaks and then transferred to Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
• Mindy Cobb – She is on the road to recovery, probably another four weeks or so. She is down to ankle brace. Also, please pray for her voice – the dr. suspects nodes.
• Grady Barrett (Student Media Volunteer) - Grady was diagnosed with a form of viral meningitis and is home and doing better but not out of the woods yet so keep the prayers coming. UPDATE: He is doing much better. He returned to school on Monday but will continue PT for the next 2 months as he continues to heal.
• Laura Leslie Stewart – My brother-in-law’s colon cancer has returned, spread to his liver. He has just started treatments. Please pray for them as they navigate this new normal. UPDATE: He is doing ok. Third treatment today and going to MD Anderson next week to meet with drs there.
• Christi Wall - UPDATE: My mother will be admitted to the hospital on October 5 for her plasma exchange. Her neurologist decided to coordinate the plasma exchange with the next infusion of her medication in the hopes to limit the stress on her body. Please continue to pray for both physical and emotional strength for both my parents in the days and weeks leading to this procedure.
• ***Karen Fisk – Please pray for James (the Fisk's Bonus Boy). The Sailor you all sent cards and snacks to on the ship... He will be having a heart procedure Wednesday morning.
• ***Sherri Jenkins - My dad passed away Wednesday afternoon of last week. Please keep praying for our family.
• ***Michelle Cresap – UPDATE: Dad, James Griffin, is at home recovering well and my sister, Julie, is doing fine.
• ***Anne Elisabeth Peacock – UPDATE: Matt’s mom, Cindy Keefe, has not received her CT scan or bone scan results yet, but her MRI showed another spot on her breast, so they are having to biopsy that.
• ***Angela Palmerton – UPDATE: My younger sister, Deni Watterson, had a pelvic MRI this past Sunday. She has multiple cysts and other issues going on that they are trying to find a treatment plan for. They did not find anything that looked cancerous, praise the Lord!! Please continue to pray for answers and a clear plan.
• ***Sharon Robinson - UPDATE: Thank you for all the prayers. Buddy got to come home Last Thursday. He is so happy for all the answered prayers, and for being able to sleep in his own bed at night. He is now on 2 antibiotics twice a day by mouth for 2 weeks. He will have  appointments with his  doctors next week.
