Praises and Prayer Requests

  • Erica Parker – 1. Suzanne Cole, wife of MHBC Music Minister  UPDATE: She will have a series of 3-5 radiation treatments before her next immunotherapy infusion. 2. Update on mother-in-law. Moved to Baptist Rehab Tuesday for 10-14 days. Found and was able to dissolve a significant blood clot in the same lung as the pneumonia.
  • Bill and Dorinda Evans - Our son-in-law, Glenn, has Bell's Palsy, and the right side of his face is paralyzed. Pray for a speedy recovery.
  • Janis Blair – The scan on Monday showed tumor in each lung and esophageal tract and lymph nodes. She is staying on present treatment plus 3 more drugs and getting 5-hour iron infusion Thursday.
  • Michelle Cresap -  Mikes aunt, Sharon Cresap, is at MD Anderson this week. She will have tests run then surgery on Friday, 5/15. They are planning on a total hysterectomy, remove lymph nodes and another procedure while they are in there. I think they are also looking for original source of cancer which has not been determined. She has finished chemo for now.
  • Larsen Kastner – 1. My brother-in-law’s dad, Greg Sullivan, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We don’t know much more at the moment, but please pray for him, his family, and the medical team!  2. One of the members in Josh’s hunting camp, Peyton Walchak, lost his father unexpectedly this week. Please be in prayer for their family.
  • Kay Candelora – Allison will have surgery on her right knee on 6/16 for a meniscus tear and tendon repair. I will be flying up on June 10 for Father’s Day and then going to DC for an unlimited amount of time to care for Allison.
  • Jill Covington - Our daughter, Jordan and her family (Ben, Roma Banks, and Lee) are moving to Huntsville. Praise they will be closer and prayers that all the moving happens easily! Thanks!
  • ** Lindsay Finnegan – My friend, Kaycee Burrell’s father, Junior Roper, passed away. They had the funeral last week. Please continue to pray for the Roper and Burrell families, and for their mother, Mrs. Kay Rober who has Alzheimer’s.
  • Benton Donahue – Please pray for my grandmother, Patty Donahue.
  • ** Sherri Jenkins - Latest update on Timothy: He is regaining strength every day but would love continued prayers for answers as to what happened.
  • ** Mary Temple – After suffering a suspected stroke several weeks ago Mary’s Sister, Ellen Guillory passed away at Highland home on Sunday evening. She was 80 and Mary’s last surviving immediate family member.
  • ** Beverly Anglin – Please be in prayer for my family in the death of my nephew Nelson who was in Japan participating in some special motorcycle races. It occurred while he was returning to his hotel. My brother’s family are working to get his body back to Ontario.
