Praises and Prayer Requests
- Carolyn Varner – Unspoken
- Jill Covington – My brother, Jeff Henderson, got his 4th round of chemotherapy for liver cancer (metastasis from colon cancer) Tuesday. His labs look like the chemotherapy is working but they’ll do scans next week. His wound, from colon surgery in November, still hasn’t healed. He is still teaching Bible and coaching at Northpoint in north MS. Pray for healing and his continued upbeat spirit.
- Tiffany Holmes – Michon Hebert, who has stage 3 Hodgkins lymphoma, is having her second of twelve-chemo infusion today and the first already made her really weak and left sores all inside her mouth and a raw tongue. She is very discouraged that if her body cannot handle the level of chemo, they will have to decrease the strength of chemo. She also doesn’t know the Lord.
- Pam Chustz – Fractured two vertebrae in her back. She is in a back brace. Please pray for the pain to diminish and for healing to take place!
- Bryan Tucker - My mom is in the hospital. She's having respiratory issues and is really having a hard time right now. please pray for her healing and a quick recovery.
- Leanne Sage – Please continue to pray for our 9 yr. old granddaughter, Emmaline Latina who needs a kidney transplant.
- Ms. Pat Pace – UPDATE: At home after having the Picc line installed. She is having infusions daily and has to have blood drawn once a week. Please pray that her saturation levels will be such that she is healing optimally. She is definitely improving and getting benefits from the infusions.
- Sherri Jenkins - Timothy broke his forearm Monday. Praise God not surgery and he didn't fall out of the bucket. Pray for speedy recovery!
- Kathy Richardson - had surgery on February 5 with 2-week recovery. Ian will have a serious back surgery with a 2-week recovery. They are also concerned about her mother’s care.
- David White – Logan finished his 6 weeks in Atlanta. Tests coming up in about 2 weeks to determine status of the cancer. Then he will be going into the hospital for 3 days, once per month, to get Chemo treatments. He has a great attitude but gets tired easily. It appears chemo will go for several months. He’s been trying to con his parents this week to get him to our house so he could go to the soccer playoffs.
- Rhonda Dismuke – PRAISE: My cousin, Gavin Green Martin, was finally moved to a regular room after 170 days in ICU. Prayer is that transplanted heart and liver will thrive, and kidney function continues to improve.
- Karen Fisk – My husband, John, having eye surgery Thursday to have his vitreous removed. It has become cloudy and causing vision issues…specifically pray that he be protected from infection before and after the surgery with his compromised immune system.
- Emily Keefe – Matt (husband) is having sinus surgery tomorrow morning (Thursday). Pray for successful surgery and quick recovery.
- Deborah Schultz – Granddaughter, Ava 5 years old – found mass on back base of tongue. Has appointment with oral surgeon Feb. 18. This is our son who passed 4 years ago daughter.
- Nancy Rawls - My second cousin, Will Bates, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He is 31, married with 2 small children. He will have a Pet Scan and Echocardiogram on Thursday, Bone Marrow Biopsy on Friday. His chemo port will be placed Tuesday with chemo to start Wednesday. The current plan is chemo for 6 months. Pray for God to go before his family as they begin this journey. Will and Marley, his wife, are members of Fondren church in Jackson.
