Praises and Prayer Requests

  • Martha Morgan, our flute player – Eye surgery on Nov. 13 in Birmingham.
  • Emily Keefe – My coworker, Robert, has been battling a rare form of leukemia for 2 years.
  • Nancy Riser – Knee replacement surgery went well. She is doing good with minimal pain.
  • Deborah Schultz – Travel mercies as we travel to Portugal and Spain – 10/24/25-11/7/25.
  • Erica Parker – Very close friend, Tonia Ray placed on hospice this week. Final stages of pancreatic cancer.
  • Kay Candelora - Daughter-in-law, Schuyler, went to the doctor for a prenatal visit Wednesday and was told that she had lost the baby. Please pray for Kay's son Nick and Schuyler during this devastating time.
  • Jamaica -  All those affected by the hurricane.
  • Carol Durham – UPDATE on sister: She was released to a rehab Friday and is now in that process (needs lots of encouragement, of course).  Her leg is improving; dr says there is still a smaller abdominal clot, but he can’t get to it or bypass it. He is hopeful that her new blood thinner will dissolve it and will reevaluate in a week or so.
  • Pauline Holsapple - Husband, Wes Holsapple, is home and doing better.
  • Carol Chandler – Mark Blair – He’s the worship minister at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. Mark takes a new treatment for his cancer at MD Anderson during the week then flies back in time to lead in Sunday worship.
  • Judy DeLoach – Walter – Will have PET scan this week.
  • Angela Palmerton – Don Sims, Melissa’s husband, came by the prayer stand during Fall Fest and said that he really needed prayer. He has been going through quite a bit for a while now, health wise and life wise,  and needs things to turn around.
  • Kathie Ford – Had hip replacement Monday. Rehab is going well.
  • Nancy Rawls - **Mike had successful shoulder repair on Tuesday.  The doctor also removed a Bone spur and some bone fragments.  Mike is uncomfortable but doing well. **Nancy has suddenly onset laryngitis.  She saw her ENT today and the good news is there is nothing seriously wrong just a lot of inflammation. The bad news is this will take time to heal.  Please pray that her voice will heal in time for SOC.
