This group usually meets in the morning on the fourth Thursday of each month at different locations. The focus of this group is to serve the community through local missions. Some of these mission opportunities include: visits to nursing homes and ICU waiting rooms, Bingo at The Bond House, Dinner with the ladies at Crossroads, and other service opportunities at MadCAAP and Our Daily Bread.
Hall Group
The Hall Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the FBCM Community Room. Monthly projects have included the Home Place, Ronald McDonald House, MadCAAP, The Mustard Seed, Cross Roads Ministry, and Baptist Hospital waiting rooms.
Praying Hearts
Prayer is the focus of this group which meets the second Thursday of each month at 9:30am in homes. They use the suggested monthly guide on prayer from the Mission Mosaic. Along with praying for our IMB and NAMB missionaries, they are careful to remember all those from our church who are doing missions at home and abroad.

The mission of the Connect Center is to establish a missional point in the city of Canton, MS for the purpose of meeting the needs of the community while taking opportunities to present the Gospel. Their ministry provides English as a second language classes and tutoring services while directing those they reach to our other partner churches in the Canton area. Through the ministry of the Connect Center, the people of Canton hear the Gospel, have needs met, and are directed to a local church.
FBC Madison partners with the Mississippi Baptist Convention to send disaster relief teams after environmental disasters. By serving communities who have experienced hardship, our Disaster Relief Ministry has a wonderful opportunity to love and share the Gospel with people who need hope.
Helping Hands Ministry is focused on meeting the needs of those in our church and in our community. This ministry often deals with individuals and addresses their specific needs. Helping Hands Ministry provides opportunities to serve those in need and ultimately share the Gospel with them.
Highland Colony Baptist Church was planted by a small group of FBC Madison members in 1994. This group was called in December of 1993 and began meeting in January of 1994 in St. Andrews School. At the end of 1994, plans for a permanent location were put in place, and one year later, the church met in their new building. Throughout the years, Highland Colony Baptist Church has grown, and they continue in their effort to fulfill the Great Commission by growing in faith and making disciples.
In 2017, God worked in the hearts of leaders at FBC Madison and set them in the direction of planting another church. This church plant would reach into areas of population growth in Madison County that were not being engaged by FBC Madison. By God’s sovereignty, Steve and Kristen Gee were called by God to move themselves and their three children from Vancouver to lead this church plant. Redemption Church began meeting in January of 2020, and the church grows as they receive Biblical teaching and seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
