Elijah

Women’s Bible Study | $17/workbook | Leader: Cathy Sims

The Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho.  And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel.  Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscles and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable.  Join other women on this 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.

1, 2, 3 John – Living Certain in an Uncertain World

All Adults  |  $5/notebook | Leader: Lisa Rippy

There are three books in the Bible that are full of relevancy to our living today as a child of God in this world, and they are the epistles of apostle John.  “Living Certain in an Uncertain World” is a verse-by-verse study of 1, 2, and 3 John and his warnings and exhortations to the church of Christ during a time that was much like our world today.

Foundations – The Key Doctrines of Our Faith

All Adults | $5/book | Leader: Dr. Kiely Young

During this study, we will cover the ten key doctrines of the Christian Faith – God, the Bible, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, Angels, Man, Sin, Salvation, the Church, and Future Things. These doctrines provide the foundation from which you interpret scripture and live it out. A firm foundation for our faith provides the stability upon which to build our spiritual house.

Bearing Fruit – What Happens When God’s People Grow?

All Adults | $12/book | Leader: Brian Rhodus

Why are so many Christians stagnant in their faith? Why do we often live as though the gospel stops at the moment of conversion? The good news of Jesus doesn’t stop the moment we get saved. In fact, salvation is only the beginning of God’s work in our lives. The gospel of Jesus doesn’t only justify us; it sanctifies us. When we receive the Holy Spirit at salvation, an incredible work begins to happen in us: we begin to bear fruit. When we are firmly planted in the gospel and committed to growing in Christ, He produces in us the fruits of the Spirit, the marks of a true Christian. In Bearing Fruit, Robby Gallaty, pastor of Long Hollow Baptist Church and founder and president of Replicate Ministries, walks us through the life of the Christian. This book points our hearts to the gracious God who called us, justified us, and is now sanctifying us by the work of His Holy Spirit.
