First Baptist Church Madison is known for equipping members
for ministry. Much of our training is accomplished through a comprehensive
Discipleship Training program.
Studies provide foundations in doctrine, ethics, polity,
theology, and history. In addition, training in witnessing, leadership,
family, parenting, finances, prayer life, counseling, discipleship and many
other subjects are regularly offered. The studies vary in length from a few
weeks to several months. There are two main times during the year when
courses are started. The Fall Semester begins the last of August and
Winter-Spring Semester begins the first of February. During the year there
are studies of particular interest that are one session to four session
studies. Most studies are held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings.
There are needs in every community and church that require
Christians in the church to meet those needs. We have several of those
groups meeting right now. Call the church office for the specific times that
they meet.
Divorce Recovery - Circumstances
